Vendor Terms of Service

Welcome to Handmade Goods Market

We’re excited to have you here. Handmade Goods Market is built for artisans, creators, and independent sellers who want real visibility—not to be buried under mass-produced listings.

By registering as a vendor, you agree to follow the guidelines below. These are here to keep the marketplace fair, trustworthy, and focused on true handmade goods.

1. Who Can Sell

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide accurate contact and payment information
  • You agree to follow all marketplace policies

2. What You Can Sell

Handmade Goods Market is strictly for authentic products. Allowed items include:

  • Handmade items created by you
  • Original artwork or creative works
  • Craft supplies used to create handmade products

Not allowed:

  • Mass-produced items not made by you
  • Counterfeit or copied products
  • Copyright or trademark violations
  • Illegal or restricted items
  • Adult or prohibited content

Products that violate these rules may be removed without notice.

3. Vendor Responsibilities

As a vendor, you are responsible for:

  • Accurate product descriptions
  • Correct pricing
  • Managing your inventory
  • Fulfilling orders
  • Providing customer support

4. Shipping & Fulfillment

Vendors are fully responsible for their own shipping.

  • You set your own shipping rates or include shipping in your price
  • You choose which countries you ship to
  • You must ship orders in a timely manner
  • Tracking should be provided when available
  • Shipping times must be clearly stated

International sellers may use their local carriers (Royal Mail, etc.) or include shipping in product pricing.

5. Taxes

Vendors are responsible for handling their own taxes based on their local laws.

  • You are responsible for collecting and reporting taxes where required
  • Handmade Goods Market only collects applicable taxes where legally required

6. Subscriptions & Fees

To sell on the marketplace, vendors must have an active plan.

  • Starter Plan – Limited listings with small transaction fee
  • Paid Plans – More listings and lower or no marketplace fees

Subscriptions are non-refundable. Failure to renew may result in listings being hidden.

7. Refunds & Returns

Each vendor sets their own return and refund policies unless required by law.

  • Policies must be clearly stated in listings
  • Failure to honor reasonable requests may result in account review

8. Intellectual Property

You must have the legal right to sell everything you list.

  • No stolen designs or copied products
  • No trademark violations

We respect creators and will remove listings that violate rights.

9. Marketplace Conduct

To keep the platform fair, vendors may not:

  • Manipulate reviews
  • Spam or mislead customers
  • Bypass marketplace fees
  • Harass customers or other vendors

10. Account Actions

Accounts may be suspended or removed for:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Repeated complaints
  • Policy violations

11. Platform Role

Handmade Goods Market connects buyers and independent sellers.

We are not responsible for:

  • Product quality
  • Shipping delays
  • Vendor disputes

However, we may step in to help resolve issues when needed.

These terms may be updated over time. Continued use of the platform means you accept any changes.
